CERTIFICATION

NEWTON BIG is the medium-size model of Rema Control’s family of vertical machining centres with moving gantry.

The base is monoblock and well-sized, electrowelded and stabilised following the latest thermal treatment technologies which ensure high stability, rigidity and sturdiness. On the bed rests the saddle (which develops the X-axis movement) upon which is located the column (that develops the Y-axis movement). The vertical movement (Z-axis) is developed by the head group. The column, the saddle and the head group have a newly designed thermo-symmetrical structure, carefully designed with the support of the FEM-Design modelling software, which guarantees high resistance to bending. All machine moving parts always rest on guides, even at the end of their travel. The guides are provided with preloaded re-circulating roller pads that thanks to the low friction coefficient, ensure excellent positioning precision and speed.

NEWTON BIG is available in various configurations, from 3 to 5 simultaneous axes, and various lengths (up to 12,000 mm of X travel). It can be customised with components and options that make it suitable for any type of material and application.
